The program will begin September 1, 2022, and run until May 20, 2023. Phillippi Park is getting a new off-leash area for dogs. The Boise Parks and Recreation Commission has unanimously approved a nine-month pilot program. Starting September 1, the park will be off-leash from sunrise to 10 a.m., and from 4 p.m. until sunset. The pilot program will include signs with information about the park and the off-leash area. In addition, new trash cans and mutt-mitts will be installed throughout the park.
